Chaderton? Fucking ...Roberto, Jaua advising Chavez? Chaderton? Fucking Luis Brito Garcia? No, they are not for advising, they are a bunch of incondicionales, that's what they are. They were probably put there p'a cuidarle el coroto a Chavez, but then, as everyone else, they must have seen the sorry state in which el caudillo lloron is in and will be thinking about life, erm, after Chavez.

So, I don't agree with your take.

I very much doubt there will be elections as scheduled. Capriles and MUD have got nothing going for them. Ethical behaviour in a country of amoral people, is as worthy as, every else...

So Capriles keeps on with the charade of the campaign, keeps repeating that he's like Lula, not wanting to rock the boat... Indeed, just like Lula, who won and kept the successful economic policies of his predecessor, which brought phenomenal growth to Brazil. If it's that part of Lula Capriles is like, the bit about keeping things as they are, then the further he gets to the presidency the better.ABhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10014152460206926913noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10659894.post-2359246400129369612012-05-04T21:31:24.948+00:002012-05-04T21:31:24.948+00:00This stuff with the Consejo de Estado is pure hay,...This stuff with the Consejo de Estado is pure hay, or as we say in English, bullshite.

This Junta has no say beyond "advising" the president.

Now if you want to argue that it's for show and to distract while the real puppeteering goes on, I'll buy that.

Should Chavez die within the next 30 days, and if by some miracle there are elections held on time, or soon enough, then CApriles does stand a chance. BUt there are too many if, ands and buts floating out there to promise anything past next week.

Still, what can Capriles and the MUD do but wait and see? The only thing they have going for them is ethical behavior, which at this point seems to have as much weight in the coming gunfight as a balsa wood knife.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17982740239261883042noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10659894.post-85500743240403463552012-05-04T10:20:38.718+00:002012-05-04T10:20:38.718+00:00Bout was captured by the Americans because of an e...Bout was captured by the Americans because of an error by Miraflores who told Bout the buyer was legit.

Where's the evidence to that? Bout got caught by Americans posing as FARC. What has Miraflores to do with that?ABhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10014152460206926913noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10659894.post-80211187455670769182012-05-04T01:10:10.797+00:002012-05-04T01:10:10.797+00:00Good stuff. We really don't know what US law ...Good stuff. We really don't know what US law enforcement wants. This whole thing is political first and foremost and with looming US presidential elections don't expect much por ahora. Even if they manage to obtain indictments, they may remain sealed. Indictments against the Castro bros. and Aristide stayed sealed. However, three Aristide lieutenants where extradited, tried and convicted in Miami federal court. Another more recent example is the Russian pilot Konstantin Yaroshenko who flew coaine-laden Boeing 727s from Venezuela to Africa. Yaroshenko was protected by the kremlin but this did not stop the Americans, Yaroshenko was captured and sentenced to 20 years. Another related case is the russian arms dealer Victor bout who was recently sentenced to 25 years... Bout was also protected by the kremlin and was nailed with selling arms to FARC. Bout was captured by the Americans because of an error by Miraflores who told Bout the buyer was legit. So there is recent precedent of the Americans doing the right thing and not fearing the wrath.

I don't buy the report that Carvajal and the judge are AWOL.

Lots of disinformation, misinformation, Counterinformation, etc...you know the game.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
