So I was participating in a debate about Chavez....
As I was warming up and getting into my stride, I thought it would be cool to throw hacks-for-rent off balance by bringing up a very valid point about Chavez's legacy...
Next thing you know, they kicked me out of the program. Note that no mention of my sudden disappearance is made by presenter Peter Lavelle.
The title of this story could be: Occupying Chavez's legacy @ Russia Today

Well, what can you expect from these typical “intellectuals” that are so racist that they believe that third world countries need the likes of Chavez, Fidel, et.al. to take revenge for the people against the evil elites. Never mind that these are corrupt autocrats, we just do not deserve democracy or the rule of law.
Wonderful. How they enjoyed spouting shite in the 2nd half. The 'prof' did mention 'the previous guest'.
They said the opposition still failed in 2012 despite all the US assistance. Not a mention of the state of the media, the cadenas, the money and institutions used by Chavez, the electoral commission and all in his pocket etc. Pathetic fools.
The are incapable of bringing themselves to accept reality Span Ows. The previous day I was debating another imbecile of "academics for Chavez" who said that elections in Venezuela were free, fair and transparent.
Unlike all of them, I did shadow a presidential candidate for three months back in 2006, and I left a record of the abuses in that election, in terms of misuse of resources, power, etc, by the candidate of the State, Chavez.
From 2006 on, it got worse and worse, to the point that no serious international organization wanted to participate as observers, not that CNE wanted them to in any case.
How can anyone with a modicum of respect for its public persona claim such things is beyond me. But they need to be exposed nonetheless for what they are: a bunch of minions, paid hacks, members of a cult where only one voice was valid.
